I set a date for a page to get published (19/8-2013) but the page gets published right away.
I don´t want the page to visible untill 19/8-2013!!! What am I doing wrong???

Right now it says:
08-Aug 19 2013 @ 08 00That´s when I want the page to be published.
But it´s bublished right now… :/I´m thinking…maybe i´t because the page is a subpage in one of my menus???
If that is the problem…how do I create a page (that´s part of a menu as a subpage) and set a specific date/time to be published? -

You find the site on: smartutbildning.se
And the page I want to be published at a later date is found in the menu under “Logga in”.There are two pages with (2013) in the title…I have the same problem with both!
The site is in Swedish…and the pages have password…

They are indeed scheduled for a later date, and you can see them as their author.
I recommend building your own menu via Appearance -> Menus in your blog’s Dashboard. This will give you more control.
Please see this for more info: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

I can see them because I’m logged in with similar privileges.
Since you have your own menu, just remove them via Appearance -> Menus. :)

So a “normal” visitor will not be able to see the page untill the specified date?
What´s the Point in setting the date if I remove the page from the menu? In that case I will have to publish the page manually???
The reason I want to publish a specific date is so that I don´t have to publish the page manually… -
The page being included in the menu now is a bug which we’ll look into.
You won’t have to re-publish it later, just add it back to your custom menu when it’s time.
-
So what you are saying is that you are confirming what I suspected?
If I build my own menu and put a page in the menu…the page will be published no matter what date I set it to be published? If I want it published at a later time, I have to remove it from the menu…and put it back at the specific time I want it to be published?
-
No, the page isn’t published (accessible to the public), it’s just in the menu. They’ll see it listed in the menu, but won’t be able to see the page.
If you’re using a custom menu, you have full control over the menu and can just remove the page from the menu for now.
-
Oh, ok!
But If I remove it…I´ll have to put it back when I want others to have access to it???
Then what´s the Point in setting a date and time???
-
Right, you’ll have to add it back. There really isn’t much point to scheduling a page at the moment. For now, it would probably be better to just save it as a Draft, then publish it when you get to the date.
