Schedule an Update without publishing it
-
I have a website where I review Wii Video Games, but each review is split into three parts that I want to be posted on three different days. I scheduled the first post, and it was flawless; it published exactly at noon. I want to add to this post, but schedule it for the next day. When I do this, it deletes the post that was there, and I understand why: because I am theoretically “updating” my post. I just want to add to it but schedule it for the next day. Is there any way to do this?

There is no way to do that on wordpress.com. The best way is to split the post in three parts and post each part separately.

Well thanks anyway for replying. I really needed it to be answered before tomorrow. Thanks.

If the idea is to make your readers come back the next day to read the next part it’s better to split the posts anyway, since they will already have read the first part before, so they will be bored/annoyed to read it again and having to scroll past it to get to the update. Just my two cents.
