Scheduled blog post publishes under different template
-
Issue:
I have a post that’s just an image. I schedule it for a future publishing date. I select “standard” as my template choice for the post and click “schedule”. When my post goes live, it automatically switches to an image template. I have to manually change it back to standard.
Any idea on how to keep the standard template from scheduling to posting live? Ideas on why the auto switch?
Thanks!

If there’s text in the post it won’t switch the template. Text keeps the post in standard.
I still see an issue here. If it’s scheduled with a template deliberately set to “standard”, shouldn’t it stay that way across the board?
More information: on the scheduled posts in question, when I “view all” posts, I see the scheduled posts with no icon beside them, implying they are still standard template. When they go live, I see the image icon beside them notifying me they’ve switched to image template. Meaning they are scheduled correctly, but the go-live process is where the issue is.
