Scheduled post didn’t publish

Hello – I had a post scheduled to publish at 6pm this evening. I got home at 7:45pm and it had not published, so I went in and took it off schedule and published it. But it was late. :(
I double checked the things the ‘self help’ guide suggested. My time zone is correct. I could see it in my list of scheduled posts, the date was today and the time was 6pm. But it was 7:45pm and it was still in the ‘scheduled’ tab and my stats said I hadn’t published anything today. I read that you can’t have more than 100 scheduled posts, but I only have 11. Well, now 10. I have only ever scheduled one other post and it did publish, but it was 30 minutes or so later than the time I scheduled it. I would like to start using this feature more, but not if it is going to be so unreliable. Any ideas about what might be causing this issue?

I suspect that you may have been looking at a cached version of the site, the reason being is that from what I can see the post was published at it’s intended time:
