Scheduled Post for Next Week Published Twice

Hi! I added a new blog post and scheduled it to publish next week. After saving, the green bar at the top said that the post had been published. So, I went to my postings and deleted the posting that was to be scheduled and not immediately published. I did the process over again and the same thing happened as before. The 3rd time I did it, it actually scheduled the posting. Can anyone tell me what happened?

Know that scheduled posts do not actually publish until a visitor clicks into the site after the scheduled date and time.

To confirm your timezone is correct know the default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.

You can edit the post and change the datestamp and timestamp and click update. These images may be helpful:
