Scheduled post not published

    I scheduled a blog post for this morning (12/18/2021). It was supposed to be published at 9 AM pacific time. As of this writing (7 PM), it still hasn’t posted. I scheduled this post earlier in the week, I believe Monday.

    Hi there,

    Is it the Project Updates post? If so, then I am able to view the site on my end. It looks like it was published successfully.

    Scheduled posts are triggered by the first visit to your blog on or after the exact date/time you set. If you see that the scheduled time has come and gone and your post or page has not been published, log out of WordPress.com and view your blog’s front page. Your visit should cause the post or page to appear.

    No, it is not the Project Updates post. That was posted 12/14. And it should be noted that I scheduled that the night before, and it posted just fine without me needing to log out and back or visit the site directly in to trigger it. I did need to do so to get Jetpack to post to Twitter, however.

    I’ll try logging out and back in, but quite frankly, setting that type of trigger seems to defeat the purpose of scheduling a post ahead of time. If I was going to be able to post it at the time I wanted the day of, I would wait until then and do so. Which I know isn’t your fault, it’s just very annoying.
