Scheduled posts
-
If I want a post to publish on a scheduled date and time, why should I then have to visit my page for it to post? I’ve checked my social media feeds after scheduled post dates and times, and there’s never anything posted until after I manually visit my page. This doesn’t make sense to me. What’s the point of a scheduled post unless it posts without me having to visit the page. Especially if social media is involved to draw OTHERS to the page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Know that scheduled posts do not actually publish until a visitor clicks into the site after the scheduled date and time.

So, i’m not doing anything wrong. It’s just a terrible design that cannot be changed. Who are these visitors? Aliens that have precognitive ability to know there is new content they must view?
WordPress people, come on! You are smarter than I am, I am certain of this. Design software that makes sense. The auto share feature to social media feeds need the post to be published before a visitor will click. It’s unlikely a random visitor will click on something that doesn’t appear in their feeds first.
