Scheduled posts – "Missed Schedule"
-
I am scheduling posts for future updates (no more than 100) and all my scheduled posts never go live, and show as “missed schedule”. I have to manually go into every post after schedule date, edit, and click “update”
I’ve heard of plugins that can fix this, but I feel like the plugin is a cover fix to what the REAL problem is. (hosting, permissions, etc type error?)
Anyone can help me please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. First, we can’t use plugins on WordPress.com. Those are only available for self-hosted WordPress.org websites: http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
Do you use the new editor or the classic editor when you write and schedule your posts?

I use my own hosting.
I use the default editor for scheduling posts. (sorry, not sure if that is the “new” or the “classic”)
Have any ideas what could be causing this? I’m really wanting to fix the root cause of the problem, rather than using any plugins for fixing it.
Thank you

Ah, okay. I went off of the URL you provided above, http://moreno.wordpress.com/, which is a WordPress.com site. If you have a self-hosted site, then I’m afraid you’re in the wrong forum. This support forum is only for free WordPress.com blogs, not self-hosted sites. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Please visit the WordPress.org support forum for assistance as we won’t be able to help you here: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.

Ohhhh ok ok, I actually did find and post in a thread there also, hoping to find a solution.
Thanks Kokkieh! I didn’t know that about the .com/.org difference, will continue seeking solution from over there
Thanks! :)
