Scheduled Posts not Posting

  I schedule a post….it doesn’t post. Anyone know why? I’ve tried this one 3 seperate occassions.

  First, go to settings > general and make sure the offset from GMT/UTC is set properly for your time zone.

  If you are still set with a 0 offset, that can cause issues for the posting time.

  I had this problem and I worked out that I had to make a change in the publish status box. Change it from unpublished or pending review to published. This doesn’t publish it but causes it to change by itself to ‘scheduled’ status after you have clicked it. A bit confusing. After that my posts seemed to publish on schedule just fine.

  Good point artrader.

  When you schedule a post for a future date, you still have to “publish” it, otherwise it will not appear at the designated time.

  I think that what was it. There also seems to be some lag as well. At least ten mintunes, I the one that just auto posted. 10 minutes is fine by me, just letting anyone else who might read this post know.
