scheduled posts not posting (anywhere)

    hi folks,
    i just switched my blog over to the easier writing view (which i believe is indeed easier). however in this new view, publicizing scheduled posts seems to be an issue (wasn’t an issue before switching).
    i scheduled three posts tonight. today’s was scheduled for 8p central to post on the blog, to facebook and twitter.
    it didn’t.
    but when i go back in to the post and click “publish,” it does so immediately.
    i read through about a half dozen post regarding similar issues — which all seem to be related to jetpack.
    i’m using a free wp site so jetpack comes automatically installed (best i can tell).

    and fwiw, i can’t figure out how to access jetpack (and i’m not a newb).
    any help publicizing posts would be greatly appreciated. thanks
