Scheduled Posts Not Publishing

  Hi, the last two days I’ve had a post scheduled to publish each morning at 8:45am EST.

  Both times I noticed they did not actually publish, and instead they remain under my Scheduled Posts, with the scheduled date being “XXX time ago”.

  I have since published them manually, but I use scheduled posts a lot, so I do need this to work properly!

  Can anyone please help me? Thanks!

  Are you aware that scheduled posts do get get triggered for publication until the first visitor to the site after the scheduled date and time triggers publication?

  I didn’t realize that was the case! I’ve watched while previous scheduled posts have posted immediately at the set time — it just seems strange that until yesterday I never had someone not visit my blog until quite a while after the publication time! (E.g. yesterday it took several hours…). I don’t get THAT much traffic :)
