Scheduled posts not publishing

  I have attempted to schedule posts on my site only to find out that they did not actually publish at the correct time. I have to go in and manually do it. How can I fix this?

  Are you are talking about the empty https://wilkes22.wordpress.com/ or some other site hosted at WordPress.com?
  Note that the support instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/schedule-a-post-or-page/
  says:

  Scheduled posts will be triggered by the first visit to your blog on or after the exact date/time you set. If you see that the scheduled time has come and gone and your post or page has not published, log out of WordPress.com and view your blog’s front page. Your visit should cause the post or page to appear.
