Scheduled Posts not publishing

  Hi, I have scheduled a post for 9 AM with ET. However the post is still on my draft. Is there an issue with scheduler?

  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

  I would recommend following these steps.

  1. Start by going into your drafts, trashing the post, and then deleting it permanently.

  2. Try clearing your cache and cookies.
  3. Create the post again, and schedule it.

  4. See if that works.

  Hi there, It’s not necessary to delete your post. If your post is still listed as a Draft and not Scheduled in your site dashboard at “All Posts” then it hasn’t been scheduled. Are you following these instructions? https://wordpress.com/support/schedule-a-post-or-page/

  Also note that scheduled posts are published retroactively when your site is visited. A site visit triggers the publication.

  As @justjennifer says above. If the post is listed amongst your drafts it hasn’t been scheduled correctly. Why not just go and edit the post and publish it right now. When you go to publish you’ll see where you can change the date to schedule another post in the future. You are required to hit the SChedule button twice to confirm after putting a future date against a post so you may have missed a step.

  WprdPress.com has a delayed reaction today. Thought I hadn’t pressed the submit button. It used to give a warning message than I had.

  Hi, Thanks a lot for your response. I couldn’t get the schedule to work and I have tried visiting my blog from different devices and it didn’t trigger the schedule.
  I will try schedule for a future blog. Thanks for your response!!
