Scheduled posts not working

  My scheduled posts are not publishing on time. This is the second time I’ve had this happen. When I go in, copy and publish it immediately, I find there are two identical posts. I’ve read forums where people have experienced this before and I can’t figure out how to make it work correctly.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you aware that when you schedule a post it’s the first visitor to the site after the dates and time set that triggers publication of the scheduled post?

  I read that. I signed out of my WordPress account and visited my blog and it still didn’t appear.

  When I checked the post, it clearly said ‘Scheduled’ as if the scheduled time would be coming.

  We Volunteers cannot view posts that aren’t published and check the settings on them. Have you checked the troubleshooting information out? http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/#troubleshooting-scheduled-posts

  I followed all the steps in the link. I double-checked the date and time before I scheduled the post.

  I have this problem too. It’s not until I log into my wordpress account that the post actually goes. When I first started, it didn’t do this before it seems. My last four posts I have had to go into my wordpress account before it posted. It says missed schedule.

  Well mine doesn’t even say missed schedule. The post just sits there as if the scheduled time hasn’t already passed.

  Please be sure you check your date and time zone settings and note you can reset your timezone to reflect the one you live in. The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.

  Deauna,

  I took a look at your blog and didn’t notice anything that would cause your schedule posts to not go out. I also tested a scheduled post of my own, just to make sure I wasn’t missing an issue.

  Please let me know if now that you’d updated your timezone you continue to miss scheduled posts.
