Scheduling Polls in the Sidebar

  Can I schedule a Poll to appear in the sidebar of my blog? I schedule Posts currently but a Poll needs to go with each Post. I like them to appear in the sidebar. Any advice?

  Hi there,

  Currently, you cannot schedule polls. However, you can create them and add them to your sidebar following the instructions here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/polls/#adding-a-poll-to-your-sidebar

  You would need to manually create them and add them to your sidebar when the post goes live. Alternatively, you could embed them into your blog post so that the poll goes live within the post. Would either of those options work?

  Jeremy thank you for reviewing this. I like the way my site is designed with it in the sidebar and so I will just have to do it on the day I want it changed at this point. I like to schedule my blogs to change when I am travelling so I don’t have to think about it, but the poll matches the blog so that is why I was asking. It’s not a huge deal, just a pesky problem. Maybe someday there will be a way to schedule polls, so if that happens let me know :) Thanks again…
