School blog, multiple children???

I’ve started a private blog which I will be using as a class blog for primary children. I will be the administrator and the main author. I’ve worked out how to invite parents to view the blog and understand that they can make comments. This is easy for them to sort out as they are able to create their own accounts with their own email addresses. However, I’m stuck when it comes to the children. I’d like them to also be able to view the site from home and make comments. I don’t want them to be able make their own posts. But I’m stuck as to how to make this happen as my class don’t have their own email addresses, and don’t want them to have either. I almost want to be able to create a new generic user for them, such as them all signing in as year2 but to be able to leave their name to show who is commenting. Is there a way of doing this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The only way that i can think you could achieve this is by getting a new email address and then set up a new username that the whole class could use. But by doing that all the comments from the children would have the same username, so unless they add their name you wouldn’t know who the comments were from.
