School needs help with purchase

    My school is looking to purchase a site. I need to know how does a schook purchase one. Can we pay by check and if so, who does it go to and what is the tax id#? Please get back to me asap. Need help.

    I don’t believe WordPress.com supports tax exemptions for educational institutions, but I will tag this for Staff input. If you haven’t already, please subscribe to this thread from the sidebar so that you will see their response.

    Since threads tagged for Staff assistance are handled on an age basis, please do not bump this thread unless you have new information for them, as this will push it down further in the queue.

    We only accept payment via credit cards, PayPal and Bitcoin.

    You can add funds to a PayPal account via a bank transfer, which may be sufficient. If not, you might check to see if your school has a business credit card that can be used for this purchase (this is increasingly common for educational institutions).

    While we are liable for certain taxes, we do not currently assess taxes on payments from our users, so there is no discount for tax-exempt users.
