I am the advisor for Ingraham High School’s newspaper. We would like to use Word Press to create our online paper. We would like to purchase the Premium account. Can you email me an invoice for this? Is there a way to pay with a check? As this is for our school district, there are certain hoops we need to jump through. Our goal is to get our website up and running in the next two weeks. Thank you for any help with this.

We’re not able to issue invoices in lieu of payment for upgrades on WordPress.com.
Once you buy an upgrade from us you will receive a receipt, and you can modify that receipt to include your school’s details if needed to claim for reimbursement or for accounting records. But from our point of view you own the upgrade, not the school.
If you need prior approval for a purchase, I suggest you do the following:
Create a site and add the plan and domain you want, and continue the steps until you get to the checkout page. That page will list all the upgrades you’ve added along with the total cost. You can then take a screen shot of that page to submit as proof of the required payment. I know it’s not ideal, but it’s the best I’m able to suggest at this time :)
