  I am a teacher. I am teaching about personal blogs and wanted to let the students each have a personal blog they can create. Kindly approve them so that they can write their own blogs. The emails are are under oakcrestschool.org. Thank you

  Hi there,

  I’m afraid I’m not sure what you’re referring to – there is no approval process on WordPress.com, and anyone can register an account, and create and launch a site whenever they want.

  If any of your students are having trouble registering an account or creating/launching a site, can you please share more details of exactly what’s happening? Note that for any site/account that already exists, we can only help the account owner directly.

  Also note that in accordance with US law, WordPress.com cannot be used by any person under 13 years of age without explicit parental consent. So if your students are under 13 years old and registering their own accounts, please provide their site URLs to us so our Trust and Safety team can follow up with them and get the required consent.
