Scoping out a new project..

    I’m looking to build a B2B website, which is ultimatley a directory of companies, with the following functionality (in addition to static content):

      User login by email address and password support
      Company profile:
      Multiple types with different data sets
      Administration of company page by user with live updates
      Subscription service for company profile page – with payment, invoicing and automated emails
      List of all company profiles with filter/sort – viewable to anyone visiting the site
      Company profile page – viewable to all visiting the site

    Is this possible on WordPress? And if so, which items come as standard and which do I need a plugins for?

    Hey there! It sounds like you’re setting up a directory. You could sortof manage that with a default WordPress installation if you got creative (individual authors could set up their pages, and you could add a payment form to the site), but there are plugins built especially for that purpose that could manage it better for you:
