scrambled username

  I have been trying for days now to log in and not been able to. Just now I tried using the administrative link belonging to my blog, After Aristotle (http://afteraristotle.net/), and then the username and the password automatically filled in WordPress. That took me to https://wordpress.com/wp-admin/user/. When I then clicked on MY Sites, I was presented with a blank page, at https://wordpress.com/sites/.

  This makes no sense to me, for I have been blogging on After Aristotle for some time now.

  It seems that the username at least has gotten scrambled.

  I have not received any response at all to the plea I emailed in yesterday.

  Yours appears to be an unusual issue. Exactly which username account registered this underlying .wordpress.com blog URL http://afteraristotle.wordpress.com please?

  Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address.

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

  Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

  Your last resort for obtaining access is to complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery with as much information as possible and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.
