  I seriously don’t know how to have a simple blog with the Calendar and Comments, etc on the side verses the bottom.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Sidebar widget areas are moved to the footer area on smaller screens. This is because the narrow width of a small screen makes it impractical to place post or page content and sidebar widgets side-by-side. For example, on your site, the calendar widget is displayed in the sidebar widget area when viewed on the screen of my desktop PC, but on a mobile phone it would appear at the bottom of the page.

  Are you saying that you want comments to appear in the sidebar widget area? You might try the Recent Comments Widget, but again, though places in a sidebar widget area, it won’t display at the side on smaller screens.
