screen options help does not match current design

The new “New Post” design includes an abundance of useless options on the left side of the page, which take up nearly the entire display (I can’t see my post field without scrolling down). The Screen Options section in HELP appears to apply to a prior release. How can I turn off of the useless display so my page give me the title bar, post field, and Publish buttons?

Hi there!
The Screen Options tab can be found in WP Admin. You can always access WP Admin directly from the left-hand sidebar under My Sites or from the following link:
https://leendadll.wordpress.com/wp-admin/From there, you can access the classic editor by hovering over Posts on the left-hand, and the selecting either Add New or All Posts.
In regards to the issue with the new editor falling to the bottom of the left-hand sidebar: I’ve reported this back to our developers. We’ve had some similar reports, and are looking to replicate and get this fixed.
In order to help us in trying to pinpoint the cause of this issue, it’d really help me out if you could let me whether you’re zoomed into your browser’s screen. If so, could you try resetting this in your browser and seeing if the issue’s still apparent. (In Firefox, you can do this under View -> Zoom -> Reset.)

in the image that I provided, I zoomed in 1 level to show the entire screen for capture. The layout is always messed up (useless tools on left, small input field on bottom), no matter the zoom level. I usually work in 100%. This problem started a couple weeks ago and occurs every day, every time, every view, every everything.
A clue: if I login, go to dashboard, then select New Post, I see the prior layout (not classic but older that this one). This display occurs with the New Post shortcut (in my browser bar), the “pencil” icon, MySite > Posts > Add, and one other path that I’ve forgotten.
If I go to MySite > Dashboard > Posts > Add New, then I see the classic view… old layout with dashboard displayed on left, not interfering with the input field.
I’d like to get back to a New Post display which doesn’t have anything displayed on the left. As I said in my first email, HELP specifies how to turn off options but “Screen Options” does not appear with the new layout.

Could you grab a screenshot of the editor you see by following these paths and add it to your media library? Here’s info on how to take a screenshot if you need it

The new editor works differently than the classic one, so it’s not possible to turn features on and off in the new editor the way it is in WP admin. There is a full screen mode in the new editor that hides everything but the edit window. You can get there by clicking the second icon from the right in the top row. It’s the one marked “full screen” here
