Scribd – Embeding PDF’s

  Hi, I use Scribd to embed PDF’s into my blog http://tritoncommunities.com/neighborhoods/wolf-ranch/fremont/floor-plans/ , really loved it until I got an iPad, now I realize it doesn’t work with mobile devices. Any other method recommended for wordpress.com? I really love the zoom and pan features of Scribd.

  Lack of mobile support is also why I removed flickr slide shows from my blog.

  Have you checked display for mobile devices?

  Dashboard >> Appearance >> Extras >> Check the box “Display a mobile theme when this blog is viewed with a mobile browser”

  Yes, I do have mobile, however, it just shows recent posts, comments, etc. Looks like I have to “hard code” the blog a little more so mobile users can see floorplans, etc.

  I just converted a floorplan from PDF, to JPG, and it works great for PC users as well as mobile users.
