script don’t work

I try to paste one script in widget “Text”, but when I push “Save changes” this script dissapear.
Why?
Maybe because I use standart, free of charge wordpress hosting and themes? -
If the script includes any javascript, flash, or iframe code, it is not permitted at WordPress.com. What is the script your are trying to use?

Hi there, it depens on the script, but Javascript with the exception of a very few options isn’t allowed here due to security reasons.

If you hosted your blog on your own sever, yes… you can do whatever you want with it, you could modify the .php files, even.

Well, you’ll be able to write/modify your theme’s CSS. That, however, won’t let you add JavaScript; besides, JavaScript and CSS are two completely different things.
