scripts on a blog

    I would like to post some sketch comedy scripts (like SNL or Mad TV) on my blog, but if I copy and paste from Final Draft or a PDF, the formatting is all screwed up and formatting is quite important.

    Any advice?

    Yes.

    1: be sure you have the worldwide digital rights to post the script to the internet, or WordPress will probably take your site down. SNL in particular is notoriously content-retentive. Simply having purchased the script does not entitle you to post it online.

    2: there is no easy way to translate between Final Draft or a PDF and a blog. You can try pasting into Windows Live Writer or Blogdesk and checking the formatting, or you can upload it to Scribd.com and post the PDF in your blog that way (again, only if you have the rights to post it to Scribd.com).
