The code would probably be in the css as an overflow

go to http://oreo8000.wordpress.com and look at the widget that has my forum banner then there is a gray box with a x at the top

The banner is too big for the box – make it smaller.
I don’t see it – increase the size of your browser window.Else, there would be an “overflow:auto” in your css

I mean I am just trying to provide the code for the banner in the scroll box so viewers can get the code

I don’t really want to know what on earth you want that for, or what you think you can make with it, but you set a fixed size, and then use overflow:auto.
Google is your friend.
