"scroll-snap-type: y mandatory;" keeps getting deleted
-
I’ve been trying to implement scroll snapping to my site, and every time I add the phrase to any part of my CSS, it is automatically deleted when I save and refresh the page, yet all the “scroll-snap-align” attributes are kept in child elements. It works in practice for the live preview of the code, but obviously doesn’t in preview or publish. I’ve noticed that enabling LESS or SASS preprocessors doesn’t delete the code, but doesn’t allow it to work either… Is there some auto-“fixing” that’s happening behind the scenes with my theme? Any suggestions on how to implement?

You can’t put css code in a free wordpress.com website.
To be able to do so, you must have the WordPress.com Premium, Business, or eCommerce plan. -

As you have a premium plan, you are entitled to Live Chat support, https://wordpress.com/support/live-chat/

I’m paying monthly and not annually so I’m not entitled to live chat support…
Believe me when I say I’ve exhausted my resources on this one and am looking for other users who have experienced something similar.

Hi there!
I’m afraid that’s outside of the scope of our support. If the info from this page doesn’t help, and you’re not able to fix this on your own, I can recommend Codeable’s services.
