Hi Bosse,
We recently made some changes to the post editor. The editor should now automatically expand as you type. Can you point me to the post where you’re having trouble scrolling?

The scrollbar within the post editor was removed as part of some recent improvements to WordPress.com. However, you should still be able to use your cursor to move around throughout the post. Is that working on your side?
If you have any constructive feedback regarding the removal of the scrollbar, could you place it here?

Jeremey! How can removing be an improvement?! Sometimes you do silly things at WordPress. And you have to improve it back this time too! Of course it doesn’t help to use the cursor. I can move the pictures but not stop them and edit the text. Who is responsible for this? Why was it done?

Hi Bosse,
I can move the pictures but not stop them and edit the text.
You should still be able to edit images within the Editor even though the scrollbars are gone. I’ve provided a screencast of editing images within posts as an example here:
Like I mentioned before, please keep all feedback regarding the Editor here:
We’re certainly interested in hearing constructive feedback regarding the removal of the scrollbar. We’d love to hear what kinds of things you’re limited in doing after the removal.
If you have any additional questions regarding the functionality, please let me know!
