Scrolling Down Does Not Load Additional Posts

I am using the Twenty Twelve theme which, when a user scrolls down, should continue to load up more posts. This has worked correctly since I moved to this theme several years ago. Tonight, however, I noticed that when scrolling down the site only displays the seven most recent posts. The eighth post does not load, nor do any further posts.
No custom CSS is currently being used.
This occurs with FireFox 57 (64-bit), Chrome 62, IE 11, and Safari on iOS devices.
Steps to reproduce:
-Go to site
-Scroll down or use Page Down or End keysExpected result: continuous scroll of older post

Make sure that you have infinite scrolling checked on this settings page. https://tagn.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

Yes, that is the site I need help with. Yes, infinite scrolls is checked on the settings page indicated. No, the site does not scroll past the post indicated still.

The issue appears to have gone away over night. However, unless somebody at the WP.com end of things actually did something I would not necessarily mark this as “resolved” as this is the third time I have seen this happen recently. The issue always comes up between 00:00 UTC and 08:00 UTC (4pm and midnight PST).
This makes me wonder if it is another item that breaks because my blog is set to run on UTC time (the only choice there was back in 2006 when I started it) while I actually reside in Pacific time. For the last couple of years the main stats page for my site would not update between those hours, an issue that only was only recently resolved.

I’ve had a look at the site and I am not able to replicate what has been described. The infinite scroll is working and the posts continue to load as expected. I scrolled down through 20 some of them without any issues.
Do you think there could’ve been an interruption in your connection?

No, it was not a connectivity issue. Other sites were responding correctly. Please see my comment above your own for my earlier update as to when this issue seems to occur, as it is not a one-time event.

It was my understanding that you noticed this yesterday for the first time. At the moment are the posts loading correctly for you?
The issue only occurs between 16:00-00:00 PST, is that right? If so I will try to come back to the site during that time to catch the glitch in action.

Yes, as I noted above, the issue is not happening currently. Posts are loading correctly at this time. The theme Twenty Twelve has been generally fine since I moved to it, but this issue has occurred twice before this month, always during the time frame indicated which, as I have noted, is a gap in time during which I have seen other issues on this site.
I have not seen this issue occur on my other site (evepics.wordpress.com) which uses the Piano Black theme, which made me wonder if it is somehow theme related. But I use that sites for spaceship pictures as opposed to writing, so the content is also different which may or may not play into the issue.
I also have not seen any errors (nothing in the 400 or 500 range) in the developer consoles of any of the browsers I have tried, so it does not seem to be a browser end error, but the host end just failing to send additional content for some reason.

Happens between 00:00 and 08:00 UTC
Only seen on one of two sites -
zouve, I just saw your website and it looks to load infinitely.
lizkarkoski, if it helps, I saw that website at 12pm IST today, and I was able to replicate the same issue what the OP is mentioning. The infinite scrolling stopped at the 7th post.
This is strange.

The issue did not come up again last night and, given past experience, I would guess that it may be some days before I see it again. Should I simply update this thread if I see it occur?

I have a new scenario where this is currently happening.
-Go to my blog at https://tagn.wordpress.com
-On the side bar, down a ways, find the Archives drop down
-Select July 2017
-When that loads, use the End key or Page Down or Scroll down as far as allowed
-Scrolling will stop at the post “Given the Boot in Fallen Gate”
-That post is date July 11, 2017
-The page should scroll further as there are posts in the month of July for six days previous to that -
I think you just have a mass of content on your site which all needs time to load. Clicking on the July archive I can get to July 3rd after much scrolling.

It is an intermittent problem, as noted above. It may be related to loading content, but I was watching it happen over the course of an hour on three different browsers, so I am not sure your comment is helpful.
