That’s just the thing though, once set up, this should not need to be done again. You have a Domain Mapping upgrade, the domain has a zone record, everything on our end is correct.
Have you made any changes to the domain’s DNS recently? Are you using both nameservers and IP addresses to point the domain to WordPress.com? If so, please use just one or the other. Using both will mess things up.

rootjosh, i didn’t change anything. I’ve just renewed my subscription. my webpage is not woking anymore. would you be so kind in guiding me through this? when im in the dns records page. in yellow on the upper part of the screen i can read a message saying “DNS servers have to be configured”. i go to the MAIN DOMAIN, DOMAIN ASSIGNED. and once inside, where it says that my subscription ends in october 11 2017, i have 2 options: mail address or dns registry. i go to the dns registry and see current records. it shows CNAME, A, NS, i cant choose any of those, they say “handled by wordpress”and option to complete “TYPE, HOST: and then ADD NEW DOMAIN registry. I DONT KNOW WHERE TO CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT MY DNS. PLEASE, BE SO KIND IN HELPING ME WITH THIS. I PAYED MY SUBSCRIPTION AND I NEED MY WEBPAGE WORKING! THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP. SILVINA

Non-WordPress.com Nameservers
Although eger.com.ar has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your name servers as outlined below.
As i told you before, i havent change a thing. and my page was working perfectly. would you be so ind in letting me know where do i have to change something and which is the information i have to change? thanks! -
Hello. I’m sorry, it seems I had to renew my domain as well. I have done it and it is working Now. Same dns error showing. Would you be so kind in doing the same as last year please? Thanks!

Once it’s set as the primary, if the domain doesn’t load correctly or you see an error, don’t worry. It can take a few hours for your domain name servers (DNS) to update fully. You will also likely need to clear your browser’s cache.

Galois’s suggestion about the cache is a good one to try.
