Seamless transition

  Hello,

  I have my current website built and hosted at Wix, but I am thinking to move it over to WordPress. The problem is that I want to rebuild it in WordPress BEFORE I transfer anything over to make sure that I have a seamless transition…I don’t know how to do this as wordperss is asking the domain transfer FIRST…meaning I will not have built the site before I need to move it…I plan to move everything over to WordPress only after the new site is up and working..Can you give advice on how best to manage this?

  The site I need help with is http://www.thealignmentquotient.com. It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

  Hi Chris! Look for a “skip” feature in the signup that will allow you to continue without choosing a custom domain from the start.

  Once you’ve skipped you can continue and build your site on WordPress.com before deciding to move your domain and connect it to the new site you’ve created. If you have trouble skipping the domain portion, let us know and we’ll try to help further.

  Thank you for the feedback…I a really having a lot of problems here…Simple stuff…I am a US company, and am traveling, but the system is refusing to allow me to be billed in my home currency…I have entered all my details and it wants to bill me in Euro instead of dollars….How in the world can I change that? Thanks for any help anyone can give….
