Hello, I am trying to determine if with WordPress I can include a tool for searching with specific information, that the user determines by selecting.
The idea is similar to, e.g., bookings.com, where on the LHS panel, you can choose, e.g. 3, 4, 5 stars for hotel start rating, the property type (apartment, detached house), etc., and then the user searches with this specific criteria by clicking on a search button.
Of course, the website owner (me) would have to provide and indexed database (is this correct?).
I have another question which is whether WordPress also provides tools for commerce? e.g. managing payments, orders, accept payments by card, etc

Hi @lemonaidek – You can set your site up with categories and tags, and users would be able to navigate through your site that way. More information on Categories: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/

This link explains the difference between Tags and Categories: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories-vs-tags/There may be a Plugin that can accomplish the search indexing like you are describing, but I am not sure, as I do not use Plugins here at WordPress.com. Plugins are a feature only supported by self hosted sites using WordPress.org. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are entirely different.
