Hello there!
If you’d like to add a Search bar to a Triton Lite site, you can add one as a widget to a sidebar/footer (depending on the configuration of your website).
- You can do so here:
https://amouraimee.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Famouraimee.wordpress.com%2F - Click Widgets. Then, click the area where you want the Search bar to appear. Then, you’ll add a Search widget to your site.
- Make sure to save and publish your changes!
That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)

Hi!
Thanks for the reply, but this did not work for me. After clicking on the link and clicking widgets, there was no way for me to click any area and after messing around a little, I was still unable to achieve a search bar.
Please let me know if you have further instruction!

That put my search bar under the “about me” tab, but I want it on the top of my home page. Any way you can help me?
Thanks again!

Hi there!
In the Triton Lite theme, with your front page setup to display latest posts, the front page can display a Search widget in either the “Middle Row” or “Footer” widget areas.
However, these are near the bottom of your site, not the top. But those are the only widget areas available on the front page using Triton Lite.
