Search bar just in blog page

  One of of my pages in a blog, and then all of my blog post summaries are shown on this page. I already have the search widget at the bottom of my page, however I am wondering if it is possible to insert a search box just into this blog landing page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  If I am understanding you correctly, you just want the search bar to only be visible on post pages and nowhere else, correct? If so, you can accomplish that using the widget visibility option:

  Sorry I should have been clearer – I have the search bar widget installed on my page (and thanks for that advice as I can see how to include it on only some pages now), however the theme I have places it at the bottom of the page. I am looking to get a search bar at the top of one of my pages.

  Hi –

  It won’t be possible to move that search bear in to a side position while using the Dara theme. This theme uses widgets in the footer area. There are themes that use side bars instead though.

  Perhaps take a scroll through some other options with a focus on widget areas. Go to https://wordpress.com/themes/
