Search bar overlapping my title in Pictorico template
-
display problem:
I am using the Pictorico template, and there is a search bar on the top left that overlaps my title.
Also, how to get the enlarged diaporama at the top of the homepage that they have in the model for Pictorico ?
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Does consulting the detailed theme description page provide any help?

It answered the second question, but it does not solve the first problem: the overlapping search bar…
Thanks timethief!

Hi there,
Your site title will wrap on to a second line as long as you have spaces in it. If you go to Settings >> General and put spaces in your blog’s title, then it will go on to two lines as necessary in order to avoid overlapping in to the Search bar like that.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you.
I like it to be one line though.
Especially because putting it on two lines the little bar to the left of the menu does not extend to the second line, which looks awkward.
But also just because it is a choice to have it on one line…
Do you know of a way to remove that search bar maybe? Thanks!

Using CSS you could hide the search element, however you would need the Custom Design upgrade in order to make this work. If you do decide to go with this upgrade, the CSS you would need would look something like this:
.site-branding { border-right: 0px; } .header-search { visibility: hidden; }Hope this helps!
