Search bar text field not clickable on Iphone or Ipad

The search widget I have is not allowing me to click on the text search field when I view the webpage from Iphone or Ipad. It will let me click it on the Ipad ONLY if the Ipad is being held in landscape view. The search widget works fine on PC, just having issues clicking on field with mobile device.
