Search block/Jetpack Search doesn’t display text when typing search terms

    Hello – the search block “fell off” our blog and in trying to add it back in, we can’t get the search box to show the text being typed in until you press enter or hit the search button. It’s like the text is invisible and the box itself also disappears. How do we get the text to show up as people are typing a search so they can see what they are typing? Many thanks, Sandie

    Hi there!

    I appreciate your patience while we looked into this! It appears this request fell through the cracks, however, I can confirm the issue you’re seeing and as a workaround, I’ve added the following CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS field:

    /* Temp fix for the input colors | 10300443-zen rg */
input[type="text"], input[type="email"], input[type="url"], input[type="password"], input[type="search"], textarea {
	color: #666 !important;
}
