  When searching a WP blog, is it possible to have the results returned in a listing style rather than in full article style. I’d rather see 10 or 20 per page, newest dates first. If so, how is it done.

  How search results are displayed is a function of the original theme designers preference.

  It would be possible for the powers that be behind WP.com to recode the themes…

  BUT that is a lot of work considering the number of themes available and you are asking for a display option that you like but may, or may not, be what the majority likes.
