Search Box and RSS Feed Coving Header

  • Unknown's avatar

    I use the Structure theme. It works really well except for the fact that a search field and RSS feed button are sitting on top of it,so you can’t see my monkey’s camera (he’s on my header). Is there a way to get rid of these or atleast move them? I did figure out how to add a facebook and twitter icon though.

    Thanks

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    We would need a link to the blog. The site linked to your username is not a wordpress.COM blog.

    I can see your monkey’s camera, plus the rss button and the search field on this site (not linked to your name, this? http://lucidmonkeyfilms.wordpress.com/ ?). Could that be a browser issue?

    No evidence of facebook or twitter. (mac + safari here…)

    Also: That background makes it difficult to read your sidebar info.

    Goodnight Tess.

    You could do the following to make it all disappear.

    .headerright {
    display:none;
    }

    Or you could do this to move it down below the top navigation.

    .headerright {
    top:170px;
    }

    If you move it down, I would also put some top padding on #homepagetop to move it down so there is some space between the grey line of text and the search/rss.

    #homepagetop {
    padding-top:15px;
    }
