Search box block

  Hi Community.

  I have a question about search box blocks.

  With a search box block, can it only search the page that the block is on, or does it search the whole site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, Here’s what it says here
  https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/search-block/#what-it-searches

  The Search block will return results from the titles and the bodies of your posts and pages, and from media titles, alt text, file names, and single image captions. It will not return results from widgets, comments, categories, gallery captions or other text, or tags.
