Search box removal
-
The search box is on the top by the “page tabs” … it is part of the template but covers up the names I have on the tabs. I added a search box to the sidebar … how do I get rid of the one on the top covering up my tab?

You can’t edit the underlying template. http://faq.wordpress.com/2005/09/27/edit-my-templates/
You may be able to “mask” it with the css customization upgrade. Do you have the upgrade? -

It’s $15 per year per blog. However, the upgrade is not recommended to bloggers who do not have css editing experience as there is no staff support for learning css. http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/10/18/about-the-custom-css-upgrade/

I assume we’re talking about a wordpress.com blog here?
This may help http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/07/01/i-have-too-many-pages-at-the-top-of-my-blog/
