  Hi there,

  I’ve been using a private blog for my university class this semester. Each of the students was an author. One of the students’ assignments was to respond each week to a question, as a comment. I’d like now to call up each person’s username in the search field so that I can see all their responses at once, but for some reason when I do that no posts appear (i am copying and pasting the username to be sure I haven’t misspelled it).

  I also tried going to “manage comments” in the dashboard and searching the comments, but that gives the opposite response… when I search the comments for a particular username, ALL of the comments appear.

  Any ideas? I really don’t want to have to do this manually.

  Put the Author widget in the sidebar.

  Thanks, but this only shows posts, not comments. I used to be able to search by username in the Dashboard Manage Comments section, but now when i do that every post shows up. This is going to add a lot of worktime to my schedule… boo. I see there’s a whole ‘nother thread about this too. Any chance of fixing this quickly, WordPress?
