Search Console Reports Missing Author – Pique Theme
-
I have 4 pages reported by google console structured data being reported as Missing: Author and Missing: Update. I’ve read on forums that this might be a theme issue. How do I contact Pique theme developers to find out if this is a theme issue and to figure out how to fix this. I think it is causing my site to not rank on google since the author and date are pretty important.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, is it showing that for pages or posts or both? Let us know & we’ll check it out further.

They are all listed under
data type – hatom,
source – Markup: microformats.org-The first error is for a page URL called: “/” Title is Contact Us
-Second error is for my primary content page, the one that should be ranking but isn’t.
-Then the two children of that page.
-Then another page
-Then “/about/”
-Then “/contact/”All of them say they are missing: Author and Updated
-
Actually, the first row called “/” says:
Missing: author (4 times)
Missing: entry-title
Missing: updated (4 times)When I click the first one and look at the detail it appears to be the home page with my panes listed.
The website is “laplaceonline.com”

Hi there,
The problem here is Search Console. Google has a separate tool for testing structured data that is not integrated in Search Console (only they know why), and that tool shows no errors for your site:
https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/#url=https%3A%2F%2Flaplaceonline.com%2F
Also note that as a Business Plan owner you can get help with issues like these via 24/7 live chat and priority email support. These forums are for free users and staffed mostly by volunteers who cannot help with the advanced features of your site. You can start a live chat via the Help icon that appears bottom right on all the pages in the My Sites interface.
