  Where can I write my blog’s descriptive line of text (the search description) that appears under the blog link in Google search results?

  I have setup the Site Title and Tag Line under General – Settings, but am looking for the blurb of text underneath my search results that I can enter.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That would be the tagline. If you’ve got text in there, just continue to blog and wait for search engines to catch up.

  Thanks but how are other wordpress.com bloggers able to write the description? An example would be http://wattsupwiththat.com If you google the blog name, in the results page, the description seems static, it reads ‘Former meteorologist and weather expert Anthony Watts maintains this site, skeptical of the man-made global warming topic.’ And there are links below it connecting directly to the blog pages.

  Can you let me know how I can manage to do that? Thanks.
