  As I am typing this I am sitting on hold with Weebly and have been for 20 minutes. They are about to lose my business. I am in need of help with some very advanced web design. I am new to WordPress and am not quite familiar with how the service works. I have been using Weebly for 8 years and maintain 4 site through them.

  I need to design a search directory that will connect customers and vendors. Vendors would need to be able to pay me a monthly fee to have a profile on the site that customers could access. Customers would need to be able to do zip code searches to give them search results of local vendors in a certain mile radius. I would really like to speak with someone about this type of site and what it would take to design it or have it designed.

  Hi there,

  To do something like this would require the user of plugins, likely a combination of directory, membership and payment gateway plugins. It looks like you might also be able to get a lot of the functionality you’d need from some themes.

  I’m not able to advise you on exactly what you’d need, but here’s some options I found when doing a quick search:

  I see some overlap between the last two links, so I’d suggest you look at the plugins that appear in both of those first.
