  A past file is still showing up in Google search even after I have deleted it. Why?
  It is a past resume that I mistakenly put on about two years ago without deleting and it has my address, phone number etc. It comes up as the second option when I type my name and phone number but I would like it to not come up in Google search.
  I have gone into the media and permanently deleted that file and when I search my blog it says that there is only the CORRECT resume uploaded. But it still is there on Google search!

  I appreciate your help making sure this gets completely deleted.

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blog content does not remove it from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.
