Hello,
I’ve created a library blog for a highschool library. When I search the title of the wordpress blog on google, the wordpress blog doesn’t come up as a hit on the first few google pages. It also doesn’t appear as a result on a google search when you search with the limiter site:silverthorncollegiatelibrary.wordpress.com either. Just wondering if it takes a few days before the site will be indexed by google and appear as a search result, or if there is something extra I need to do so that it will appear as a top hit when the search is entered into google. On settings I have selected the option it is ok to have the site indexed by search engines.Thank you for your help and I look forward to hearing from you.

yes – 4 to 7 weeks to be fully indexed and that is only if the site has something worth indexing – you have what looks like 3 Posts – that is a good start on a one day old site – add more content
