  people are having trouble accessing my WordPress blog from a browser. I’ve tried the Google search console but get to the copy URL into the WordPress site and it won’t do it as it says ‘ownership verification failed’ can anyone help me? thank you

  Hello there,

  Follow these steps exactly if you want to verify your site with Google:
  https://wordpress.com/support/webmaster-tools/#google-search-console

  However, you are not required to do so. The Google search engine will index your site anyway( WordPress is highly search engine friendly by default), you can do it to speed it up if you so desire.
