Search engine inadequate

  When I type in a word/s in the search engine it takes me to posts where the word/s do not appear. Isn’t there an advanced search facility I can use to solve this problem?

  Overall, the search box in the Support documentation returns better results than the one at the top of the forum. http://en.support.wordpress.com/

  Also, you can try searching the forums on Google with your search term and site:en.forums.wordpress.com/
